Slight delay in the results this week as I had to make a few amendments to the score calculator due to the driver swap. On that note, it has been decided that the driver choice made at the beginning will be retained for the rest of the season.

Note: There was an issue with the teams scores adding up. This has now been corrected and last weeks images have been updated.

Bahrain Grand Prix

Note: The players that chose Alonso will earn the points earned by his temporary replacement Vandoore.

Update: Due to a mistake with the team points adding up I've edited the images with the corrected Bahrain points results. There wasn't much movement but at least the teams add up properly now!

Fantasy Formula 1 2016 Entry

Fantasy Formula 1 2016 is here! Here is this years rules and point scoring scheme.

Qualifying:

Points are awarded to the drivers for qualifying. The points range from 22 points for pole position down to 1 point for the 22nd driver on the grid.

1st - 22pts

2nd -20pts

... 

21st - 2pts

22nd - 1pt

Qualifying positions will be taken as the drivers starting grid position. This is so any penalties awarded to the drivers are factored in. 0 points are awarded to those that fail to qualify.
Race:

Points are awarded to both the drivers and teams for the final race results.

Drivers points:

These mirror the official FIA point scheme.

1st 25pts; 2nd 18pts; 3rd 15pts; 4th 12pts; 5th 10pts; 6th 8pts; 7th 6pts; 8th 4pts; 9th 2pts; 10th 1pt.

A bonus of 5 points are awarded to the driver who sets the fastest lap during the race.
Teams points:

Again the points mirror those of the FIA point scheme for driver finishing positions.

1st 25pts; 2nd 18pts; 3rd 15pts; 4th 12pts; 5th 10pts; 6th 8pts; 7th 6pts; 8th 4pts; 9th 2pts; 10th 1pt.

A bonus of 10 points are awarded to every car that finishes the race.

Bonus points:

Double points will be awarded for your 2 selected tracks.

50 points will be awarded if you correctly predict the 2015 Formula 1 driver champion.

50 points will be awarded if you correctly predict the 2015 Formula 1 team champion.

All qualifying and finishing positions will be taken from the BBC sport formula 1 website.

If a driver is replaced for whatever reason, you will accrue the points from the replacement driver.

Here are this years groups.

Group K is for any driver you choose to be crowned overall champion.

Group L is for any team you choose to be crowned overall champion.
